Let’s not dwell on the 5-0 defeat at Cheltenham and instead revel in the fantastic 1-0 victory over local rivals Bristol City. An early sending off, a great derby atmosphere and a superb individual effort by Michael Smith ensures Town inflicted City’s first league defeat this campaign.

Also for discussion is the reemergence of the battle in the STFC boardroom, a quick mention of the potential of Sheffield United employing a convicted rapist, and a look forward to next weekend’s trip to Peterborough.
