I decided to take the microphone to the Webbs Wood Stadium in South Marston this afternoon to briefly record the thoughts of Town fans Iain Watkins and Anthony Gingell on the both of the opening Swindon Town pre-season friendly fixtures at Yate Town and Swindon Supermarine.
A main talking point was trialist Calvin Kalinga who has featured for Town in both games after turning up at the training ground with his boots. He’s an unknown quantity. Even Google can’t find any dirt on his past, especially his time at Royal Antwerp in Belgium.

I’m as curious as you all and can’t wait to find out more about Kalinga, I too tried the trusty Google and couldn’t find anything on him, where is he from, did he really play for Royal Antwerp? I’m waiting with bated breath.

If there is no history of his past at Antwerp then you must presume he is lying.

According to Linked In he went to school in Faringdon. That’d explain why he’s come along to Swindon
