Podcast Episode 17: A win is a win…

Episode #17 of TheWashbag.com Swindon Town FC Podcast is now available to download…
Host Ron Smith is joined by Sam Morshead – Swindon Advertiser Chief Sports Writer – and podcast regular Iain Watkins.
The three review Swindon’s 1-0 win over Tranmere Rovers, a game that was like watching paint dry compared to recent frenetic and high-scoring matches.
A main topic for discussion is the treatment of Town players by referees. Is Jed McCrory right in claiming Swindon “are rumoured to be becoming a ‘soft touch’” and that the “style of refereeing also encourages opposition teams to be over-aggressive”?
We also discuss Yaser Kasim’s new two year contract, Mile Storey’s loan move to Salisbury City and a briefest of previews for the midweek JPT game with Plymouth Argyle.
The podcast will return in a fortnight with a review of whatever else happens between now and then…

Ta very much. Some bits remain very difficult and unnatural, such as the introductions
