Carlisle United travel to Wiltshire on the back of  a 1-nil defeat at Crewe on New Years Day which leaves them in 17th and 8 points clear of the relegation zone.

Town are now ranked 3rd most efficient hosts, and remain strongest in defence as hosts with a ranking of 3rd in League One, compared to 6thth most efficient in attack.

Swindon’s recently strong home defensive record is helped by the tightest defence in the division, restricting opponents to the fewest shots per game and shots on target. With the recent clean sheets, even Foderingham’s save rate has jumped from 21st to 10th strongest of all hosts.

My prediction… 

Our near perfect home record against Carlisle was ruined on their previous visit. After two 5-nil victories Town must continue to improve upon the all-important goal difference with a solid victory.
