I’d agree with the match sponsors and Brendan. Al Mac gets my vote for his sheer industry, great passing and ensuring the Cobblers couldn’t grab an equaliser.

McCormack does have a problem of believing his own hype. In that second half he was starting to think he was Beckenbauer and once it got us into real trouble. Obviously we got away with it but in a higher division such showboating will be punished.
