The whole team played extremely well, so to pick one out is very difficult, and Risser certainly made his mark. Both he and Cibocchi get a lot of flak – Cib got a standing ovation when he came off – so it is good to recognise them both; but Connell, having had a frustrating season, and often not coping with being on from the start, was outstanding last night – perhaps he took potshots once or twice too often, but he looked very sharp.
