February Player of the Month: Alan McCormack
You have voted Alan McCormack as our Swindon Town Player of the Month for February.
McCormack secured 38% of the vote, ahead of Paul Benson with 32% and Luke Rooney in third with 10%.
The former Southend and Charlton man has continued to stand as a rock at the centre of defence; an unlikely outcome considering his unfamiliarity with the position earlier this season.
Throughout February, Alan has played in all six matches, during which the Town have conceded just twice thanks to his consistent performances.
It hasn’t purely been Mac’s defensive presence that has shone this month. His distribution has greatly improved and his fantastic penetrating forward runs with the ball at his feet have contributed to many a swift counter attack.
Thank you all for voting.

As it’s all been said before, pretty much any of the players who’ve played in the last month could have got it this month. It’s been simply brilliant and the best time to be a Town fan I can remember, but all the more painful to have to watch/listen to it from afar!
