Poll: Is Paul Hart the right man to lead Swindon Town to safety?

The Swindon Advertiser reports former Nottingham Forest, Barnsley, Rushden & Diamonds, Portsmouth, QPR and Crystal Palace manager is all set to take over at The County Ground.

So I’m jumping on the bandwagon with a quick poll.

If Paul Hart is to be appointed as Danny Wilson’s successor until the end of the season, is he the short term replacement to lead us to safety?

Did a great job keeping Palace up last year. Hope he can do the same for you.

No, but he might be as good as Swindon can get and it might depend on him getting a good positive young respected assistant. I’m surprised DW has stuck it so long when every decent player he has gets sold. I know its economics, but Swindon have lost a good manager who I thought would have been good for QPR before we got NW.

It is not just that Paul Hart did a great job for Palace but he did it at a time when the club was imploding all around him, what with the Administration etc. He had both hands tied behind his back, yet he kept the players focussed and positive. The reality is that Swindon are in the proverbial and “Red Adair” Hart will prove an excellent fire fighter. Good luck to all at Swindon……
