As for whether we agree with Matt Ritchie for the September Player of the Month, here’s our view:
Alex Cooke – Matt Ritchie. At times he’s more of a lone gunman than Lee Harvey Oswald but he creates, he scores and he excels.
Adam Johnson – Matt Ritchie. Constant threat with goals and great deliveries into the box. His lack of pace is made up for through his excellent footwork.
Andrew Steele-Davis – Matt Richie. Scintillating stuff from the former Pompey man, almost single handedly ripped Barnet to bits, best player in the league by a mile
Vic Morgan (BBC Wiltshire) – Matt Ritchie. Began to show why he’s so highly rated, and should be on of the top players in League Two this season
Gary Rose (Swindon Advertiser) – Matt Ritchie. His return to form this month and Town’s improved results is no coincidence.
Ron – Ritchie has been as good in September as Flint was in August. A series of superb performances shows why he deserves our Player of the Month.
