This morning the Adver revealed Town no.4 Jonathan Douglas has been voted Player of the Year.

Douglas was a clear winner with the fans with 45.7% of the total vote and is a worthy winner as he has made a huge contribution this season.

I was very pleased to see JP McGovern’s excellent season recognised with his 2nd place in the poll with 15.1%. JP was closely followed by Charlie Austin with 13.8%.

More than 1,000 votes were cast with the majority of the first team squad recieving a vote. Although I’m surprised to found out that Alex Revell was allowed to vote for himself!
